Week 3
Finished dinner. Steak, scalloped potatoes, green beans, and mac & cheese. Watching (500) Days of Summer for about the 5th time on demand. Tragically beautiful. Worked today for a little bit, did some landscaping. Earlier in the morning I had a good hour wait for the manager at Quizno’s to arrive. She interviewed me and I felt as if I did a really good job. Maybe not a hire-on-the-spot job, but a really good one as it is. I came home, and found out my uncle has known the workers at Quizno’s for years now. He gave me a good recommendation and he told me that if any spots open soon, I’d be their first pick for the job. I took a shower, and in the middle of my scrubbing, I got a knock on the bathroom door.
“Taco Bell just called you!”
So I called back, and I’m scheduled for an interview tomorrow @ 3:30. Luckily I learned how to tie a tie by myself, I’ve been practicing. I feel like work will be healthy for me, as my attention to detail will finally be put to positive use.
